Arrival & Assessment

Dogs arrive and acclimate. Yathy does a quick read on each dog's energy and state. Owners get grounded in what to focus on today.

10–30 min

Leash Work & Foundations

Heel, loose-leash walking, auto-sit, and attention. Building handler connection before off-leash work.

30–60 min

Recall & Off-Leash Distance Work

Using the full 20 acres. Long-line recall, proofing against distractions, building reliable come-when-called.

60–80 min

Group Exercises & Social Skills

Dogs work in proximity — structured passes, parallel walking, place-stay near other dogs. Socialization the right way.

Where is the Paddock Estate located?+
The Paddock Estate is a 20.6-acre private property in the Durham Region of Ontario, near Pickering, ON. The exact address is shared with registered participants upon confirmation — we keep it private to maintain a quiet, distraction-free environment.
Are the group sessions really free?+
Yes — fully free for the launch period. The first round of sessions are free while we build the community and figure out demand, dates, and cadence. After the free launch, sessions will be $25 drop-in or $49/month unlimited.
My dog is reactive. Can we still come?+
Yes. Mild to moderate reactivity is exactly what these sessions are built for — controlled exposure on 20 acres where you have real distance to work with. If your dog has bitten a human or shown severe dog aggression, contact us first for a private evaluation.
What breeds are welcome?+
All breeds — including pit bulls, rottweilers, German Shepherds, Dobermans, and all working breeds. We don't judge by breed. We judge by behavior and your honesty on the intake form.
Do I need proof of vaccination?+
Yes. Rabies, DHPP/DA2PP, and Bordetella are required. You can bring your vet record on your phone — we'll verify before your first session.
What if sessions get cancelled due to weather?+
We'll notify all registered participants by text and email with as much notice as possible. Sessions will be rescheduled, not cancelled — your spot carries forward.
Is the property fenced?+
Yes. The estate is fully enclosed for safe off-leash work. No public access, no surprise encounters with off-leash dogs.
