Dogfather GTA Dog Transformation Giveaway
1. Sponsor and contest period
Sponsored by The Dogfather / Dogfather.ca. The promotion opens August 22, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time and closes October 31, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time. The closing date was extended from September 1, 2026 because the online entry form was unavailable for part of the original entry period, and extended again to October 31, 2026. The prize pool was also increased under section 9. Every entry already received remains valid, will be included in the draw, and is eligible for the increased prizes.
2. Eligibility
Open to legal residents of Ontario who are at least 18 years old and reside in Toronto, Durham, York, Peel, or Halton. Entrants must be able to travel to Toronto to redeem a prize. Employees, contractors, and members of their immediate households are not eligible.
3. How to enter and bonus entries
No purchase is necessary. To create one base entry, comment on the official @thedogfather___ giveaway Reel with your dog’s breed and the biggest behaviour or reactivity issue you are working on, then submit the verification form at Dogfather.ca/giveaway using the same Instagram handle. Optional bonus actions are: follow @thedogfather___, like the Reel, save the Reel, share the Reel to an Instagram Story while tagging @thedogfather___, and tag friends who would genuinely be interested in dog training. Each valid, genuine, non-duplicate bonus action earns one additional entry. Each distinct, relevant friend tag may earn one additional entry. There is no maximum number of valid bonus entries, but duplicate actions or friend tags, bots, automation, spam, fake accounts, self-tags, misleading tags, and mass irrelevant tagging do not count. All entries are subject to Sponsor verification.
4. Prizes
Three prizes are available: (1) a three-week Reactive Board & Train program, approximate retail value $5,250 CAD; (2) a twenty-session private behaviour management package, approximate retail value $3,800 CAD; and (3) a Gold Membership to Dogfather Pack Sessions, approximate retail value $650 CAD. Total approximate retail value is $9,700 CAD. All three prizes and all Pack Sessions prizes must be redeemed in Toronto only. Prizes have no cash value, are non-transferable, are subject to service suitability and availability, and must be scheduled within 12 months after winner confirmation.
5. Draw, odds, and winner confirmation
A random draw from all eligible entries is planned for November 1, 2026. Odds depend on the total number of eligible base entries and verified bonus entries received. Potential winners will be contacted using the submitted information and must respond within 72 hours, prove eligibility, sign the required declaration/release, and correctly answer a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question before being confirmed.
6. Privacy and publicity
Entry information is used to administer the promotion and verify eligibility. Optional marketing consent is separate from entry. By accepting a prize, a confirmed winner consents to reasonable use of their first name, city, prize, and approved transformation content for promotion, where permitted by law.
7. Service and prize locations
The Dogfather offers dog training, Board & Train, dog boarding, and daycare in Toronto. All prizes are redeemed in Toronto only.
8. Platform release
This promotion is sponsored by The Dogfather and is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram, TikTok, Meta, or ByteDance. Entrants release those platforms from responsibility connected with this promotion to the extent permitted by law.
9. General
The Sponsor may disqualify entries that interfere with fair administration, cancel or modify the promotion if fraud, technical failure, or another event materially impairs it, and substitute a prize of equal or greater approximate value when necessary. The Sponsor's decisions are final, subject to applicable law.
