A Day In The Routine
Structured leash walk before any food or stimulation. Sets the tone for the day.
Quality kibble, raw, or your own provided diet. We follow your dog's normal protocol.
Reinforce known commands, work on impulse control. Your dog comes home better, not just rested.
Calm shutdown — critical for high-drive working breeds. Decompression matters.
Structured outdoor time with handler supervision. Never an unsupervised free-for-all.
Final meal followed by a low-energy evening walk. Lights out by 22:00.
Specialist Tier · $200/day
Dog-reactive or human-reactive dogs. Separate intake, controlled yard time, daily threshold work. Free assessment required.
Special Tier · $250/day
Senior, medical, anxious dogs. Med admin (Prozac, insulin, etc.), hand-fed schedule, vet on call.
Boarding is $90/day for standard, $200/day for reactive dogs (dog-reactive or human-reactive), $250/day for special needs (senior, medical, anxious, high-needs). Board & Train (boarding + daily training reinforcement) is $150/day. Daycare is $75/day. All tiers stay at Paddock Estate (Pickering). Free 30-minute meet-and-greet before any first booking.
$75/day for trainer-led structured daycare. Drop off in the morning, pick up in the evening. Structured play, rest cycles, enrichment, and obedience reinforcement throughout the day. Not a free-for-all open play room.
Yes — reactive and aggressive dogs are a Dogfather specialty, not an exception. The Reactive Dogs tier is $200/day. Separate intake protocol, no surprise dog meetings, controlled yard time, trainer-supervised 24/7. A free 30-minute in-person assessment is required before booking a reactive-dog stay.
Yes — Special Needs tier is $250/day. Includes hand-fed feeding schedule, medication administration (Prozac, Gabapentin, Trazodone, insulin, NSAIDs, etc.), extra one-on-one care, vet on speed-dial. Pet medical authorization signed at intake. Ideal for senior, medical, anxious, or otherwise high-needs dogs.
Four structural differences: (1) supervised by a working trainer, not minimum-wage kennel attendants; (2) small-batch — max 4 dogs at a time, not 30+; (3) structured day with walks, training reinforcement, premium crates for rest cycles + overnight (safe separation from other on-site dogs), and enrichment, not 8 hours of group play; (4) 20 acres of paddock space at Paddock Estate.
Yes — premium crates are used for rest periods during the day and overnight. This is safe separation from other on-site dogs and is core to a structured stay. Dogs are out of the crate for walks, training, supervised yard time, meals, and enrichment throughout the day.
Only if you opt in and the temperament fit is right. Group time is never randomized. Reactive dogs, special-needs dogs, and dogs whose owners decline group play get separate yard time. Group play is supervised by the trainer when it does happen.
24/7 on-site supervision. The trainer lives on premises at Paddock Estate. Phone is always on for owner contact. There are no camera-only overnight periods. Dogs rest in premium crates overnight for safe separation.
Photo + 30-second video update every 24 hours, sent proactively to your phone or email. You don't have to chase updates.
Yes. Medication schedule is signed at intake and maintained exactly. Vet phone is on speed dial. Pet medical authorization is signed before any first stay. Included in Special Needs tier ($250/day) or available as an add-on to standard boarding.

Yes — $150/day for Board & Train. This is the standard boarding setup plus daily structured training (heel, place, recall, leash manners, reactivity protocol). For reactive dogs, the Reactive Dogs tier ($200/day) is a board+train tailored for dog-reactive or human-reactive cases with daily behaviour modification.
